In 2025, we got tired of hearing “you can’t get that anymore” about all the best darkroom materials, so we decided to do something about it. Through our own trial and error, we discovered a selection of amazing papers and materials that most darkrooms don’t even know exist. And that’s how PaperCut was born.

We want to give photographers, artists, and experimenters access to the widest range of papers possible in the widest range of sizes possible. We offer small batches (25 or 50 sheets) of accurately pre-cut papers, ranging from 8x10 inches all the way up to 20x24 inches, in Fuji DP2, Pearl, Velvet, Maxima, and more.

We believe the future of analogue photography isn’t about looking backwards, it’s about exploring what’s next and offering something different.
